Our agency’s reputation for delivering an unheard-of-level of client service comes straight from the top. While many CEOs hole up in the corner office, Tony still keeps a full plate of AE duties and remains actively involved in every account.
A self-proclaimed pragmatist, Tony applies the same litmus test to everything: “If it’s not going to get real results then move on to the next idea.” And who can argue with that?
Tony’s 28 years in advertising include 11 years as the VP / General Manager of Devine Communications, at the time, one of Tampa Bay’s largest ad agencies. Before that he gained invaluable experience on the media side as a radio station account executive, station manager and station owner. Tony has also worked in the cable television industry and owned a direct mail company.
Darlene is a seasoned strategist with 20 years of full service agency experience. Brand development. Sales promotion. Merchandising. Store operations. She’s done it all. She also has a way of making each client feel like the only client.
Prior to joining Ad Partners, Darlene was the Account Director and GM at JA&G Advertising and supervised the $35 million Eckerd account. She led Eckerd, at the time the country’s fourth largest drugstore chain, in their annual planning process overseeing the brand, promotions, media, creative, production and public relations.
Before JA&G, she spent 10 years with Doner Advertising, one of the largest independent agencies in the country. During the span of her career she has also spent time on the client side as a Brand Product Manager for Lykes Pasco, Inc.
Over the past 20 years, Becky Tanner has developed targeted, results-driven media strategies for some of the country’s biggest brands – including Outback Steakhouse, Mazda, Ford, Publix, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Arby’s and La-Z-Boy.
Skilled in all facets of media planning and buying, she has directed annual media budgets of every size – from under $1 million to over $40 million. Experienced in all media (broadcast, cable, print, direct mail, outdoor and digital), Becky brings uncommon insight to making the most effective media choices for Ad Partners’ clients.
Before joining Ad Partners, Becky spent the majority of her career at Doner Advertising (the country’s largest independent ad agency). She has also held senior posts with 22 Squared (formerly WestWayne) and Creative Sports Marketing in Charlotte, NC.
David oversees all creative produced by Ad Partners across all accounts. In addition to having his name on a lobby full of creative awards that span every medium, he is one of the Bay area’s most prolific creative directors with regard to television –writing and supervising the production of dozens of TV commercials each year.
David has a reputation for being very “buttoned up” and brings an intense focus to balancing smart ideas with creative executions that swing for the fences. To date, he and his team have won more than 150 local, regional and national creative awards – from Gold and Best of the Bay Addys to a wall of Telly Statues. The most important thing on David’s wall? A daily reminder that reads: “You’re only as good as your last ad.”
Prior to joining Ad Partners, Dennis was an art director for Coral Advertising in Havana, Cuba, long considered a world-class agency. While there he helped create national and international campaigns for clients such as Mercedes Benz, Air France, Sandals Beach Resorts and Lucky Strike Cigarettes. He has also worked on special assignments throughout the world including the Netherlands and Brazil.
An art director’s art director, Dennis brings multifaceted design ability to everything from print layouts to consumer packaging. He even designed the reception desk in our lobby (thanks to formal training in industrial design). Throughout his career Dennis has been honored with numerous local, national and international awards. Recent wins include a Best of the Bay Addy for a piece featuring multiple hand-drawn illustrations.
Crissia leads the agency’s digital department, guiding the execution of all interactive initiatives. From developing websites to inventing entirely new apps that have never existed before, she brings a rare degree of clarity and focus to what is a constantly evolving frontier. Clients love her because she makes it all so easy to understand. Frankly, that’s why we love her, too.
In addition to project planning, she oversees the execution of every digital project to ensure flawless, efficient mechanics – optimizing each project’s full digital potential.
Prior to Ad Partners, Crissia worked with a broad range of clients including Adobe, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the American College of Surgeons, HD Interactive and the Tampa SEO Training Academy.
